Overview

Odíhg Ksveriy̼síht was founded durring the late 12th century in spring of the year 1068, by Ha̋më̌ Mbór 'Moon Clair' Joīkī̌ Cú̄ Ha̋chīsh Nanney. The establishment of Odíhg Ksveriy̼síht suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Odíhg Ksveriy̼síht was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Ksveriy̼síht is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Odíhg Ksveriy̼síht is is constructed arround a semi-circular restrictive cobblestone mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town sits behind a stone-renforced palisade wall, with stone gatehouses and timber drawbridges for their trench. The town's would-be-castle fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.

A look around Odíhg Ksveriy̼síht makes you worry someone might stab you in a dark ally for your boots. It’s not filthy, or dark, but the smiles seem strained, the locals seem to glare daggers in eachothers backs a little too much, and everyone is armed at all times. You may want to keep an eye on your valuables, and make sure you don’t wind up in any position of power.

Odíhg Ksveriy̼síht has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Odíhg Ksveriy̼síht.

Odíhg Ksveriy̼síht has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Odíhg Ksveriy̼síht has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Odíhg Ksveriy̼síht's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Odíhg Ksveriy̼síht has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Odíhg Ksveriy̼síht has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

Odíhg Ksveriy̼síht is led by one or more incompetents. While they must have been very good at something to have acquired the position, they are fundamentally incapable of leading. Uncontrolled passions or lusts, commitment to a hopelessly impractical ideal, pigheaded obstinacy in the face of failure, a total lack of charisma or interpersonal skills, or profound laziness might all unfit them for their post.

Odíhg Ksveriy̼síht's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for the combined use of arcuated and trabeated construction, employing arches and constructed with post and lintel. The arch served as the style's chief structural element, with flanking columns serving as buttresses or decorations. While the general shape of their structures could be generously described as simplistic, the use of these arches and columns created a most distinct ascetic which is easily distinguishable on sight to armatures and experts alike.

In Odíhg Ksveriy̼síht rainbows form quite often above the Town.

The Yothga near Odíhg Ksveriy̼síht are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.

Odíhg Ksveriy̼síht's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves drinking to channel Chronomancy energies of tier 2 via divine sermons.
